The State and Federal Liberal governments are teaming up to undermine our environmental laws. We need to stop them

We’re in a climate and extinction crisis. Ecosystems are under intense pressure. Wildlife and habitat are disappearing at an accelerating rate. 

We should be doing everything we can to protect our environment, but instead the Tasmanian and Australian Liberal governments are making it even easier for big polluters and destructive developments. 

Our current environmental laws aren’t perfect, but they provide some protections. However, if the Liberals get their way the federal layer of protection will be ripped off. 

The Liberals might want to tear up the federal laws, but they can’t do it on their own. They’ll need support from the crossbench to make these changes.  

We, and millions of Australians, know how important it is to protect our environment.
